No account is required to generate your first plan. You can try DateDash AI instantly — no signup, no password, no credit card. Just open the app, answer three quick questions, and your date plan is ready.

Creating a free account is optional but useful if you want to: save your plans and revisit them later, avoid repeating venues you've already tried, and share plans with your partner via a persistent link. You can sign up using just your email address — no social login required.

Right now, DateDash AI is deeply focused on Orlando, Florida. We've hand-curated our venue database, integrated with real-time booking platforms, and built genuine local knowledge of neighborhoods, parking, hours, and what makes each experience special.

We're actively expanding to additional cities. When we add a new city, we do it the same way we built Orlando: obsessively, with local expertise, real data integrations, and curated recommendations rather than generic database pulls. More cities are coming — stay tuned.

The AI combines several data layers to choose the right venues for you:

1. Curated local knowledge — We hand-maintain a database of the best Orlando experiences across dining, cocktails, desserts, activities, and hidden gems.

2. Real-time validation — Every suggestion is checked against Google Places API to confirm the venue is currently open and operational. We filter out permanently closed spots automatically.

3. Foursquare enrichment — We layer in crowd-sourced tips, trending signals, and contextual notes so suggestions feel fresh, not stale.

4. Slot logic — The plan is sequenced to make sense: cocktails before dinner, dessert after, nightcap at the end. Venue types are matched to the right moment in the evening.

The result is a plan that feels like something a well-connected local would put together, not a generic AI list.

Pricing estimates are approximations based on menu data, pricing tiers, and crowd-sourced information from Google Places and Foursquare. They're generally close — usually within 15–20% of what you'll actually spend — but actual costs vary based on what you order, drinks, tip, and any specials running that night.

Timings assume average service pacing and typical drive times between venues. If you have a hard end time (like a babysitter pickup), we recommend building in a 15–20 minute buffer. High-traffic Saturday nights may run slower at popular restaurants than our estimates suggest.

Yes. Once your plan is generated, you can tap the swap button on any individual venue to get a fresh alternative that still fits your vibe and budget. Don't love the dinner spot? Swap it. Want a different cocktail bar? Swap it. Each swap gives you a new suggestion while keeping the rest of your plan intact.

You can also regenerate the full plan anytime with adjusted parameters — different vibe, different budget, same neighborhood. Each generation is fast and free.

We're building more granular customization — dietary restrictions, outdoor/indoor preferences, occasion tagging (anniversary, first date, etc.) — in upcoming updates. If there's a specific customization you need, let us know.

Yes. Create a free account and every plan you generate gets saved to your personal dashboard. You can:

Without an account, plans are session-based and may not persist after you close the browser. For the best experience, we recommend signing up (free, just an email address).

We take privacy seriously. Here's what we do and don't do with your data:

We do: Store your email if you create an account (to authenticate you), save your plan history if you opt in, and use anonymized analytics to improve the product.

We don't: Sell your data to third parties, share your email with advertisers, or use your plan history to target you with ads.

Plans generated without an account are effectively anonymous — we log a session ID but no personally identifiable information. Account holders can request full data deletion by emailing us. Our servers use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and industry-standard database security.

Yes. Orlando has a surprisingly deep Michelin presence — starred restaurants, Bib Gourmand picks, and Michelin-recommended spots across multiple cuisines and price points. DateDash AI knows all of them.

When your budget and vibe are a match, we'll include these venues with appropriate badges (⭐ for starred, 🌟 for Bib Gourmand) and direct links to their booking platforms — Resy for most fine dining, OpenTable and Tock for others. We include context about what makes each one special, so you arrive informed rather than just showing up hoping for the best.

Our Michelin-aware venues include: Sorekara, Camille, Kadence, Soseki, Victoria & Albert's, Ômo by Jônt, Knife & Spoon, Papa Llama, and Capa — among others.

We validate venues against Google Places API in real time, so permanently closed locations are filtered from your plan before it's even shown to you. We also check day-of-week closure data, so a restaurant that's closed on Mondays won't appear in a Monday plan.

For fully booked restaurants, the booking link (Resy, OpenTable, Tock) will show real-time availability when you tap it. If no times are available, use the swap feature to get an equally strong alternative that may have availability. We're working on pre-surfacing live availability data directly in the plan so you can see it without clicking through — coming soon.
